What a fantastic event! The response from the community to this event has been incredible, and to date we’ve raised almost $1700.00 for the American Heart Association!!

Its not too late to donate!

For those of you who missed it, the event kicked off at 3:00 on the big field. Our favorite DJ and Emcee, Terry McKinnon was there making sure we had lots of great tunes to keep everyone motivated. Oranges and water were enjoyed to keep everyone’s energy up. Leading up to the big day, the excitement was visible throughout the school, with everything from students practicing their jumping on the field throughout the day, to the amazing pictures created by students and posted in the buildings. Not only did our internal community responded with tremendous support, externally, we were thrilled to host the Bellevue Fire Department as special guests on our big day. Students thoroughly enjoyed their tour of the fire truck on display.

A HUGE thank you goes out to Ellen for organizing the event, and an even bigger THANK YOU to all our jumpers, and the BIGGEST THANK YOU goes to the families who donated so generously to raise awareness for heart health! Words are not adequate to express our appreciation.

It is fantastic events like the Jump Rope for Heart that create our Exceptional Community and make The Little School an Exceptional Place for Learning.
