If you or someone you know wants to be more involved with The Little School and wants to get to know more parents while working together for some common goals, here’s a great opportunity! We, the Parent Association Nominating Committee (Amanda Nguyen, Mary Beth Binns, Ursula Phelan, Samantha Robertson), are currently seeking nominations for next year’s Parent Association leaders.

What is the PAC?
The Parent Association Council (PAC) is the group of parent officers who lead the Parent Association. They include the Chair, Chair-Elect, Communications Officer, Secretary, and Treasurer. What is the role of the PAC at TLS?
The PAC:
• serves as a communication link for and among parents/guardians, faculty, staff, and the Board of Trustees
• assists in fundraising for program enrichment and for operating The Little School
• organizes and promotes special events that build and strengthen the school community
• works to acknowledge and represent all members of the school community

How does someone become part of the PAC?
Each year the Nominating Committee puts together a slate of candidates culled from
nominations submitted by the TLS community. The slate is then voted on by the Parent
Association (that is – all TLS parents) in May.

How do I nominate someone?
To nominate yourself or someone you know, please send us an e-mail at pacnominations@thelittleschool.org, find us at school, give us a call, or fill out a Nomination Form and drop it in the PAC mailbox, by Monday, March 22nd. Please include some brief thoughts about why you are making your recommendation.
