Educational Model

The Little School is a model for child-centered education that responds to individual developmental time tables and learning styles, nurtures the development of the whole child, and preserves and supports children's natural sense of wonder and curiosity. Alumni and alumnae of The Little School find they are well prepared and successful in many different educational environments and in their careers.

The mission of The Little School is to keep alive each child's natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, to support balanced social and academic skill development, and to foster community-minded, compassionate and intrinsically motivated students.
