Admission Guidelines
The admission process at The Little School is designed to ensure that students admitted will achieve success and that the school community will benefit from their contributions. We select students for admission to the school on the basis of academic potential, developmental readiness and previous school achievement. Where appropriate, we use screenings, playgroups, and/or visits to assist in the assessment of each candidate. In all cases, The Little School retains the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether or not to select a student for admission or to re-enroll a student. The admission committee makes recommendations to the Head of School, who has ultimate authority and sole discretion in all re-enrollment and admission decisions.

When there are more qualified applicants than spaces available, The Little School maintains an unranked waiting list. If openings become available, the admission committee decides which applicant to admit based on the overall class composition.

The Little School admits students of any racial, national, religious or ethnic origin. The Little School does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or ethnic origin in the administration of its admission, financial aid, or any other school administered programs.
