How To Apply
The Little School welcomes candidates who are compatible with the school’s values and mission. Our admission process is designed to ensure that students admitted to The Little School will achieve personal success and thrive during their years with us.
The regular admission procedure begins in September, one year before the child’s anticipated entrance.
The following steps are necessary in seeking admission:
Complete and return the application forms and a $75 application fee. Please include a family picture.
Complete the application packet, including:
- Parent comment form
- Previous childcare/school form
- Teacher reference form
- A current school transcript or report card (if applicable)
- All standardized and psychological test results (if applicable)
Schedule a visit for parents/guardians. Tours for parents only are conducted on Tuesdays and occasional Thursdays in September through January at 9:00am. The tours are an opportunity to see the school’s classrooms, campus and to ask general questions.
Attend a visit day. For our older applicants, this will be a morning visit with a current class of students of the similar age. For our youngest (two and three year old) applicants, this will be a visit/playgroup time with a teacher, the Director of Admission and a learning specialist.
