Substitute Teachers

Successful candidates will have prior experience working with children ages 3-12. Commitment to anti-bias, child-sensitive approaches necessary. WA Teacher Certification and/or relevant degree in early childhood, elementary education or child development a plus. Competitive hourly rate.

Substitute Teaching Assistants

Teaching assistants work in the full-day classrooms, assisting teachers and children with their mid-day activities. The hours are 10:30 AM – 1:15 PM on M, T, W, & F and 10:30 AM – 2 PM on Thursdays.

Substitute teaching assistants are needed to fill in when a teaching assistant is absent. These positions require flexibility, initiative, and good communication skills. Applicants should have prior experience working in a school setting with children ages 4 – 12. Some coursework in child development or education is a plus.
