The role of the Parent Association is to build and strengthen our community. This important work is done in a variety of ways such as organizing school events, supporting classroom activities, and recruiting and organizing volunteers to support the school. All current parents and guardians are members of the Parent Association.
At the helm of the Parent Association is the Parent Association Council (PAC), a core group of officers who coordinate these efforts. The 2016-17 PAC officers are:
Davin Chin, Chair
Sarah Cosentino, Vice-Chair
Joanna Steele, Secretary
Jennifer Flake, Appreciations Officer
Room representatives also provide valuable leadership in the Parent Association, working to build cohesive classroom communities and assisting in both classroom and school communications. This network of support extends to the many parents and guardians who volunteer their time and skills to strengthen our community and to help make The Little School a great place for kids and their families.
Funding for Parent Association activities, including PAC Family Events and the PAC Grant program, is bolstered by retail revenue or passive fundraising. More details about how you can support The Little School and the Parent Association when shopping can be found on our Giving page.
