All-school Curriculum Night
This year's All-school Curriculum Night will be on Thursday, February 6. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Meadows Center Room, with time to socialize over snacks starting at 6 p.m. This event is an experiential evening, where parents get to sample brief lessons in literacy, math, science and social-emotional curriculum led by our teachers. You will come away with a sense of what learning feels like for your children, while having fun with other TLS parents and faculty/staff members.
When asked for takeaways from last year’s Curriculum Night, parents said:
- "Getting to see how many teachers know my kids even if they have never been in class with them.
- "I enjoyed the passion of the teachers in the various subject areas. I appreciate the degree to which the curriculum is child centered."
- "I just loved to see the strategies employed to engage the kids, not just teach them 'stuff.'"
Childcare is complimentary and available only for TLS students from 6-8 p.m., but space is limited. Please email Ray Castillo Jr. to reserve a spot for your child(ren). Drop-in care is not available.
