Greetings from Fiona Ayres '19, AAB Chair

Dear TLS families,

Congratulations to everyone who has been a part of the TLS community and is now taking courageous steps forward. To all students who just Outgrew or recently changed schools, you are now alumni! To new alumni and parents or guardians of new alumni, thank you for making the community at The Little School welcoming and unique.

We welcome you all to the TLS Alumni Association! We are honored to have so many vibrant individuals stay connected to the larger TLS community. Receive quarterly updates about community happenings with the Alum Newsletter. Consider sharing your own updates with the Alum Newsletter, volunteering, attending special alum events, engaging on social media and exploring other opportunities on the Alumni Portal!

Additionally, our Alumni Association Board (AAB) would love to hear your ideas. Email our Community Events and Alumni Coordinator Jenny Chiang or any of our Alumni Association Board members any time. Thank you for being a part of this community. You will always have a home here at The Little School.

Fun Fact!

Did you know that our TLS alum logo is a trillium? Its three petals represent:

• Alums (the year after their name represents the year they outgrew or would have outgrown TLS) 
• Alum Parents ("P" with the year(s) after their name represents when their child(ren) outgrew TLS)
• Alum Faculty (the range of years after their name represents the time they taught at TLS)

Why "alums" instead of "alumni"? "Alum" or "alums" is the gender neutral term. We are planning to use this term going forward, but there are some places "alumni" will stick around!
