Diwali, or Deepavali, is a centuries-old festival of lights celebrated across India and the global Indian diaspora. Rooted in ancient harvest rituals and rich mythological traditions, it honors the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. 

Día de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead, is a deeply cherished Mexican tradition. This vibrant and culturally rich event is a homage to the dearly departed, filled with love, remembrance and an array of customs that vary depending on your region and culture. 

The autumnal equinox marks a moment of celestial balance when day and night are nearly equal, a turning point in the agricultural cycle. For modern-day Pagans, this day is celebrated as Mabon, a time of gratitude, reflection and connection to nature’s rhythms.

Rooted in ancient moon-worship and harvest celebrations, the central theme of Mid-Autumn Festival is family reunion. On this night, when the moon is at its brightest, families gather to share a meal, admire the full moon and express gratitude for the harvest and for each other's company.

Sukkot is a week-long Jewish holiday that celebrates the fall harvest, community and commemorates the Israelites' journey through the desert after their exodus from Egypt. Sukkot reminds us to be grateful for nature’s bounty and for shelter and to appreciate the importance of community.
