Friday, June 7, 2019 -
4p.m. - 5:30p.m.

Children who are leaving The Little School to enter 6th grade are considered to be outgrowing. The Outgrowing Ceremony takes place at 4 p.m. on June 7 at the Covered Court, before the all-school Year-end Potluck. This event has some traditional elements, including teachers speaking about each student, a ceremonial trip down the jay slide and cupcakes. Families from all classes are invited to attend this truly special event which honors the journey of our outgrowers and celebrates the promise that lies ahead for them in middle school. Earlier in the day, all 4th grade students will participate in an Upgrowing ceremony as they look ahead to their 5th grade year. It will be a big day for all our oldest students.

Event Type:
Thursday, December 13, 2018 -
8:30a.m. - 9:30a.m.
Event Location:

At TLS a group of parents and guardians gather monthly to explore, understand and celebrate children’s neurodiversity. The next meeting will be in the Schoolhouse on Thursday, Nov 15 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. If you are wondering how to support your child’s learning, how their unique profile fits with others at TLS and how areas of struggle can also be viewed as strengths, there are other parents who know what you are going through and can support you. Come for coffee, tea and conversation. We’ll share our stories, celebrate our successes and discuss strategies and resources that have been beneficial. For more information contact Kary Kublin.
