Supporting Families of Diverse Learners
Tuesday, December 12, 2017
8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
All parents and guardians wanting to support children’s learning are welcome to join us to explore, understand and celebrate children’s neurodiversity. Many individuals with learning differences struggle to be successful in school. If your child’s school experience has included a neuropsychological evaluation or dealing with the terms, “dyslexia,” “dysgraphia” and “learning disability,” there are others in the group who have likely had a comparable experience. Come for coffee, tea and conversation with parents who can support you. We’ll share our stories, celebrate our successes and discuss strategies and resources that have been beneficial.
